The Anoka-Metro Regional Treatment Center (AMRTC) is the state’s largest psychiatric hospital. Overseen by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), the hospital operates 110 beds on a secure campus in Anoka, Minnesota. It provides inpatient psychiatric care to adults who require treatment in a hospital setting.

A native of Russia, Dr. Burleson graduated with her medical degree from the Novosibirsk State Medical Academy in 1996. After relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in psychiatry at the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine in 2015.

An authority in her field, the doctor is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
