Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Paula M. Fishbaugh, who serves patients in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Dr. Fishbaugh, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and a certified nurse midwife, practices at Women First OB/GYN Center in Royal Oak, Michigan.

After earning her undergraduate degree from College of the Holy Cross and her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 1997, Dr. Fishbaugh went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. 

With a passion and love of medicine, she is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also board-certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada. 

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics, covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, and gynecology, covering the health of the female reproductive system, the vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts.
