He strives to provide the best care for his patients and to be a role model for his children.He owes his career to his parents who continually encouraged him to study hard, as well as to his 6th grade elementary school teacher, Mrs. Grace Tune, who provided constant encouragement and motivation to become a dentist. The doctor became interested in dentistry when he was 11 years old and stayed on that course throughout his schooling.

Get to know Pediatric Dentist Dr. Murray Dock, who serves the population of Ohio. Dr. Dock graduated with his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the Butler University College of Pharmacy and practiced clinical hospital pharmacy while in dental school. Furthering his education he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science in Dentistry from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. After obtaining his Dental Degree he completed his Pediatric Dentistry residency with the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Furthering his training he then completed his Cleft Palate Fellowship with the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Dock is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. To stay up to date in his field, he remains a professional member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Cincinnati Dental Society, Cincinnati Pediatric Society, Academy of Laser Dentistry, International Association for Dental Research, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Rho Chi Society and has been inducted as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow in the College of Diplomates of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr Dock has served as a board examiner for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, as a dental consultant for the United States Air Force, and has served on numerous committees for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He has authored numerous chapters on pediatric dentistry and dental pathology in dental and medical textbooks and has lectured nationally and internationally on various topics in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Dock currently practices as a Pediatric Dentist with Montgomery Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Dock has been at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for over 25 years, having served as director of the residency program in pediatric dentistry. He continues at Cincinnati Children’s as an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry serving in a teaching capacity in the residency program. Pediatric dentists are dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teen years. They have the experience and qualifications to care for a child’s teeth, gums, and mouth throughout the various stages of childhood. Dr. Dock attributes his professional success to the encouragement he received from his parents to do well and work hard.
