A surgically trained podiatrist with over 18 years of solo practice experience, Dr. Rodriguez-Portela practices at Caribbean Foot Clinic in Vega Alta, and at Hospital Wilma N. Vazquez in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico.

Regarding his educational background, Dr. Rodriguez-Portela earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 2000. He then went on to pursue a two-year comprehensive podiatric medicine and suergical residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, completing his training in 2002.
