Get to know Internist Dr. Jerald B. Hershman, who serves patients in Allendale, New Jersey.

A diligent and concerned internist, Dr. Hershman is affiliated with Valley Medical Group, serving the community of Allendale, New Jersey. He is uncompromising in his dedication to the well-being of his patients, and is committed to giving the best care and establishing long-lasting relationships with them.

With a broad educational background, he attended Universidad Católica Nordestana (UCNE) Facultad de Ciencias Medicas in the Dominican Republic, where he received his medical degree, and completed his internship at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. He then went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

On a more personal note, Dr. Hershman is fluent in both English and French.
