Dr. Qureshi Is trained as an MD from overseas and is a licenced medical optometrist from Boston , MA where she graduated with clinical honors from Accelerated Doctor of Optometry program designed for foreign medical doctors and Phds. Dr.Qureshi treats medical eye conditions as well as certain surgical cases such as, glaucoma , post cataract Yags and lid procedures . She is currently seeing Pediatric , geriatric patients with private insurance as well as Medicaid and Medicare. She is currently working in ophthalmology and medical optometry private practices . She is highly trained in Urgent care eye pathologies .

    This could be due to a number of reasons . Dry eyes is very common amkng contact lens wearers . Then there is giant papillary conjunctivitis from over wearing ornsleeping in contact lenses .     I went for my yearly eye check up at the Family Eye Clinic in Lafayette in Aug. 2018. The Staff was very friendly Ms. Angela at the front desk was helpful. Mr. Dorion was very helpful and friendly when it came time to picking my eye glasses. The waiting room is a a big area. The office was Very Clean even the restrooms! The staff was very friendly and Dr . Fatima Oureshi also. I had a very nice experience for my fist visit. My Husband was also unpressed and he will be going there for his eye check-ups.
