Dr. Edward Reis is a Board Certified Internal Medicine specialist practicing in Voorhees, New Jersey. His training and experience has made him knowledgeable and comfortable in all levels of medical care. Dr. Reis specializes in the medical treatment of adults. Internists can function both as a primary physician or as a consultant to other non-specialized physicians. Internists manage all common, complex and rare diseases. Dr. Reis provides comprehensive care and manages treatments with surgeons as well. Internists establish long-term relationships with their adult patients and incorporate disease prevention as well as mental health care into their practice.
Dr. Edward Reis is also an educator. As Founder of the Resident Continuity Clinic for the Jefferson Internal Medicine Program, he created a learning and caring environment for the training of Internal Medicine Residents in managing both acute and chronic medical conditions of adults and the elderly. Comprehensive Preventive Care medicine is a large part of his practice philosophy. He also provides patient education opportunities through the community outreach activities he has with his Medical Residents.
Finally, Dr. Reis is a natural leader, recently appointed as the Senior Director of Primary Care with JMG East. He envisions a robust and cohesive group of dedicated clinicians that provide dependable, quality, timely, comprehensive and preventive care to all residents of South Jersey.
