Educated in the United States, Dr. Rouse-Ho graduated with her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mercy Hospital Chicago, and her fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the LAC+USC Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Passionate about her profession, board-certified in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics & gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) is a subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology that focuses on managing health concerns of the mother and fetus prior to, during, and shortly after pregnancy. Maternal-fetal medicine specialists are physicians who subspecialize within the field of obstetrics. For pregnant women with chronic health problems or other complications during their pregnancy, MFM specialists work to keep them as healthy as possible while their bodies carry a pregnancy. They also care for women who face unexpected problems that develop during pregnancy such as early labor, bleeding or high blood pressure.
