Renowned Plastic Surgeon Celebrates Nearly a Decade of Transformative Body Contouring Procedures, Combining Expertise and Compassion

Dr. Marten, a distinguished plastic surgeon with an impressive track record in aesthetic plastic surgery, has solidified his reputation as a leader in the field with nearly ten years of experience and over 1,750 successful body contouring procedures to his name. Known for his unwavering commitment to precision and his artistry, he transforms lives through his innovative surgical techniques and patient-centered approach.  

With a remarkable educational journey, he holds a prestigious Ivy League degree from Cornell University, which laid the foundation for his medical career. He furthered his education at Tulane University Medical School, where he earned his MD, followed by a Master of Public Health degree from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.  

Subsequently, he began his surgical journey at Tulane Medical Center, where he completed a rigorous residency in general surgery. His quest for excellence led him to the Cleveland Clinic, where he specialized in plastic and aesthetic surgery, honing his skills under the guidance of leading experts in the field. Dr. Marten’s dedication to mastering the intricacies of cosmetic surgery culminated in an aesthetic fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, further solidifying his reputation as a meticulous and talented surgeon.  

As a board-certified plastic surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), the doctor adheres to the highest standards of surgical excellence, promoting safe and ethical practices in the field. He is also board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and maintains active membership in esteemed organizations such as the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).  

Dr. Marten’s accolades reflect his dedication and skill, including serving as Chief Administrative Resident at both the Cleveland Clinic Plastic Surgery and Tulane Surgery programs. He is an inductee of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and has received the Mims Gage Teaching Award and the Sidney Jacobs History of Medicine Award.  

Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is not only a dedicated surgeon but also an active individual with hobbies that include running and tennis.
