Dr. Mohandas is a highly respected dermatologist affiliated with Park Nicollet Dermatology St. Louis Park in Minnesota. With a robust background in medical and cosmetic dermatology, she is a dedicated physician who combines compassionate care with the latest advancements in dermatology to provide personalized, high quality treatment for patients of all ages and backgrounds.   

Throughout her academic career, she earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine & Public Health in 2012, where she was honored to be a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She was also recognized by the  Pathology Honor Society for her excellence in that field which is a cornerstone of dermatology. She completed her residency in Dermatology at the esteemed Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in 2016, following an internship in Internal Medicine at the same institution. Dr. Mohandas is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and draws on a broad foundation of experience in a leading academic center, private practice in Atlanta, Georgia, and now at Park Nicollet.

“I became a physician because I was intrigued by the human body and inspired to help others,” Dr. Mohandas shares. This passion drives her commitment to addressing her patients’ concerns with the same care and attention she would provide to her own family. Through shared decision-making, Dr. Mohandas collaborates with patients to develop tailored treatment plans that are grounded in evidence-based medicine.

At Park Nicollet Dermatology, she utilizes photography and dermoscopy to ensure the early detection and treatment of skin cancer. Her experience extends to treating inflammatory skin conditions, including eczema, can,e and psoriasis, as well as addressing age related changes such as hair loss. Her expertise in addressing the skin care needs of patients of color ensures inclusive care. 

“I love getting to know my patients on a personal level and developing long-term relationships,” Dr. Mohandas emphasizes. “I appreciate the individuality of my patients and aim to tailor treatment to each person.” This patient-centered approach is a cornerstone of Dr. Mohandas’s practice and reflects the values upheld by Park Nicollet Dermatology.  Her non-judgemental and approachable nature makes her a trusted partner for patients navigating dermatologic concerns.  Beyond her warmth, she has a unique ability to explain complex medical concepts in clear and relatable terms.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mohandas serves as faculty of the Health Partners Institute dermatology residency program. This role allows her to mentor the next generation of dermatologists. She and her husband, a cardiologist, also co-author a newsletter on health-related topics called The Pulsometer.  When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, as well as pursuing her love for travel, puzzles, and cooking.
