He pursued further training in the United States, completing his residency in internal medicine at Tulane University in 1988 and his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Baylor College of Medicine in 1992.
Dr. Triana’s academic pursuits led him to the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center, where he played a pivotal role in the development of cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology programs. Later, he joined Cardiology Clinic of San Antonio, where he currently serves as the Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer.
