Dr. Kim is a diagnostic radiologist who is currently serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at NYU Langone Health. Dr. Kim is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). Their mission is to certify that our diplomates demonstrate the requisite knowledge, skill, and understanding of their disciplines to the benefit of patients.
Dr. Kim received her medical degree from Boston University Medical Center in 1994. She then went on to complete a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at NYU Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Breast Imaging at the same center.
Dr. Kim is proficient in interpreting mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. She is also trained in stereotactic, ultrasound guided and MRI guided biopsy. Dr. Kim has been practicing diagnostic radiology since 2001 as a partner radiologist at Nassau Radiology Group (NRAD). Nassau Radiology Group was acquired by NYU in 2015 and she is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU working in the Long Island Division.
