Dr. Rajasinghe completed his undergraduate degree from Yale University where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry in 1988. She then graduated with his Medical Degree from Duke University School of Medicine in 1992. After obtaining his medical degree, he completed his general surgery residency from the University of California, San Francisco. Furthering his training he completed his Thoracic Surgery fellowship with the New York Presbyterian Hospital, as well as his Vascular and Endovascular Surgery from the Jobst Vascular Center.

Dr. Rajasinghe is dual certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Vascular Surgery. Tp stay up to date in his field, he remains a professional member of the American College of Surgeons, American Association of Vascular Surgery, Howard C. Nafziger Surgical Society, Florida Medical Association, Society of Vascular Surgeons, American Venous Forum, Florida Vascular Society, and the South Florida Vascular Society.
