Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Neena Bhargava, who serves patients in Macomb, Michigan.

Recognized as a warm and engaging pediatrician, Dr. Bhargava practices at McLaren Macomb Pediatrics in Macomb, Michigan. Patients see her for a variety of reasons, including pediatric consultations, prenatal fetal consultations, sinus problems, sore throat, and asthma.

McLaren Macomb Pediatrics is a designed Patient Centered Medical Home committed to offering high quality care to help children maintain optimum health. The office offers care for infants, children, and adolescents in a friendly and professional setting. From newborn through the toddler and teen years, each child is in good hands with a team of board-certified pediatricians and specially trained nurses.

Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Bhargava graduated with her medical degree from Sawai Man Singh Medical College in India. She then went on to perform her internship in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital, and her residency in pediatrics at Forum Health – Western Reserve Care System.

With over 10 years of experience caring for pediatric patients, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement. 

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

For several years in a row, Dr. Bhargava has been nominated and awarded Metro Parent Magazine’s “Mom-Approved Doc” Award. She is bilingual and able to communicate in both English and Hindi.

Among her various accolades include Patients’ Choice Award (2011, 2016, 2018), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2014), and On-Time Doctor Award (2016, 2018).
