He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2007, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Colorado Denver, where he also obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Sciences. Dr. Fortune further honed his expertise with a fellowship in transplant hepatology at the said establishment, which he completed in 2012, solidifying his comprehensive knowledge in liver care.
Dr. Fortune’s research endeavors focus on improving clinical outcomes for patients with cirrhosis and portal hypertension and enhancing the quality of care for liver transplant recipients.
