Get to know Internist Dr. Paul Pechman, who serves patients in Harrison, New York. 

Dr. Pechman is an internist serving Harrison and the surrounding communities. He is affiliated with White Plains Hospital - a leading healthcare provider in Westchester County and home to many renowned programs and services. The Hospital offers much of the technology and specialty care usually found at large teaching hospitals and combines it with compassionate care close to home. 

In regards to his education, Dr. Pechman earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Boston University School of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency and internship at Boston City Hospital and a fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. 

Additionally, Dr. Pechman is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease medicine, and geriatric medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Internal Medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. As an internist, Dr. Pechman is specialized in pulmonary medicine. He manages patients who need life support and mechanical ventilation and is specially trained in diseases and conditions of the chest, particularly pneumonia, asthma, tuberculosis, emphysema, and complicated chest infections.
