Academically, she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University, setting the stage for her illustrious medical career. Her unwavering pursuit of knowledge led her to the University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston, where she earned her medical degree. She further honed her expertise during her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she served as the Chief Resident in her fourth year.

Passionate about her profession, the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, Dr. Ellis’s dedication to advancing women’s health is underscored by her contributions to medical literature. She has published and contributed to several articles in esteemed medical journals, reflecting her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field. Additionally, her fluency in Spanish enables her to connect with a broader range of patients, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.
