Arizona Retinal Specialists proudly highlights the exceptional contributions of Dr. Mandi D. Conway, MD, FACS, a renowned ophthalmologist specializing in retinal diseases and uveitis. With over four decades of medical experience, Dr. Conway is celebrated for her compassionate patient care, groundbreaking research, and leadership in ophthalmic education. 

A graduate of Rosalind Franklin University’s Chicago Medical School, Dr. Conway completed her internship at Swedish Covenant Hospital and pursued an ophthalmology residency at Tulane University. She further honed her expertise through a surgical retina fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Conway has dedicated her career to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of complex retinal conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, and ocular tumors.  

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Conway serves as a Clinical Professor and Interim Chair of Ophthalmology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. Her academic contributions include over 100 scientific publications and more than 150 presentations at national and international conferences, reflecting her commitment to medical education and research.
