Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in Southern California, Dr. Bouzaglou’s journey into medicine began with a mission to improve lives. She earned her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School after studying at UCLA and completed her general surgery residency at The University of Iowa. As a board-certified surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Bouzaglou maintains strong affiliations with leading professional organizations. She has embraced technology by offering virtual consultations through the Touch MD platform, allowing for remote patient care without compromising on quality.
In 1998, Dr. Bouzaglou opened The Center for Plastic Surgery, Kentucky’s first accredited outpatient center, where she has completed over 4,500 successful cases. Known for her innovative techniques, she has shifted many procedures away from general anesthesia to oral sedation and local anesthesia, significantly enhancing patient safety and comfort. This patient-centered model not only reduces recovery time but also expands surgical access to individuals previously deemed high-risk.
With a strong focus on breast surgery—offering augmentations, reductions, lifts, and reconstruction—Dr. Bouzaglou has also made significant strides in body contouring, including liposuction, and specializes in deep-plane facelifts. Her commitment to continuous education ensures that her patients benefit from the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine.
In addition to surgical options, The Center for Plastic Surgery and Med Spa provides a comprehensive range of non-surgical services, including injectables, laser therapies, and RF microneedling as well as Hydrafacials. Dr. Bouzaglou’s dedication to safety and innovation means that patients receive the most effective non-invasive treatments available.
