Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Stephanie Langsam, who serves patients in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Langsam is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist working at Lankenau Medical Center. Her specialties include obstetrics / gynecology, maternity care, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Lankenau Medical Center, part of Main Line Health, is a 370-bed acute care, teaching hospital in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. It has been named as one of the top 5 hospitals in the Philadelphia region by the U.S. News & World Report and received the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission.

Academically, Dr. Langsam attended Technion Israel Institute of Technology where she received her medical degree. She then relocated to the United States, completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Lankenau Medical Center. 

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health. 

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.

In her spare time, Dr. Langsam enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, reading books, going to the beach, and long runs.
