Certified through the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Tsujimura, also known as “Tsuj.” to many of his patients and staff, is a very well known plastic surgeon in Scottsdale, Arizona. In addition to his reputation for excellent surgical outcomes, patients boast of his meticulous attention to detail and extraordinary bedside manner.

Dr. Tsujimura has been practicing for more than two decades with a primary focus on aesthetic/cosmetic and revision surgery. Originally from the northwest, Dr. Tsujimura attended the University of Washington in Seattle, WA where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and graduated with honors. He went on to complete his medical education at the University of Washington School of Medicine, graduating in the top 10% of his class. After completing internship at the University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Tsujimura then performed his general surgery residency training at Maricopa Medical Center and Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. He then spent a few years training future surgeons by taking on the role as the attending surgeon in private practice. He performed and taught general, trauma, and vascular surgeries. Dr.Tsujimura compiled this impressive resume all prior to attending the University of Tennessee (Memphis Plastic Surgery). Currently, in addition to his own private practice, he actively holds privileges at Piper Surgery Center, Greenbaum Surgery Center, Scottsdale Shea Medical Center, HonorHealth Medical Center, and Honorhealth Osborn Hospital. 

Dr. Tsujimura is constantly learning cutting edge techniques from his colleagues in the United States as well as other countries. He has been elected by his peers into the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Arizona Physician’s Honor Society, the Maricopa County Medical Society, the Phoenix Plastic Surgery Society, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Medical Association, the Arizona Medical Association, the Arizona Medical Honor Society, Phi Beta Kappa, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

Named one of the best surgeons in the Greater Phoenix area, Dr. Tsujimura has been recognized with distinction by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as one of “America’s Top Surgeons”, Compassionate Doctor Award in 2014 (VITALS), Patient’s Choice Award (VITALS) 2013, and America’s Top Doctor named him a Top Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon in 2005 to present.
