A proud native of Portland, Oregon, Dr. Sobieraj’s journey in the field of dentistry began with a strong academic foundation. Graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Oregon and Portland State University, he furthered his education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Biology from Portland State University.

Thereafter, his passion for dentistry led him to pursue his dental degree at Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in Portland and the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, Arizona. His dedication to continuous learning is evident through his participation in various advanced training programs. He has honed his expertise in sedation dentistry, implants, laser treatments, and Invisalign, staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

As a testament to his success, Dr. Sobieraj has been recognized with prestigious accolades, including a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction achieved by only a select few in North America. He is also actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sobieraj finds joy in spending quality time with his wife, Tammy, and their children, Owen and Olivia. He likes to play soccer and basketball with his son and makes valiant attempts to do hip-hop dance and ballet with his daughter.
