Get to know Otolaryngologist Dr. Tyson D. Fisher, who serves patients in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Dr. Fisher is a board-certified otolaryngologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. At present, he practices at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Great Plains Regional Medical Center is a not-for-profit corporation organized under the state laws of Oklahoma in 1934. It is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of business, community, and medical leaders from Western Oklahoma. A 2010 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Dr. Fisher went on to complete his residency in otolaryngology at the Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. 

Following his education, he became board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, which serves the public by ensuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.

Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists, also known as ear, nose, and throat doctors, specialize in disorders of the head and neck, ranging from hearing loss to cancer.
