She then attended the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC where she graduated with her Medical Degree in 1984, giving her over three decades of experience in her field. After obtaining her Medical Degree, she completed her training in general surgery and neurosurgery at the Harvard affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Petrucci is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. She has additional training in the kyphoplasty procedure and has acted as an instructor and proctor to other doctors training in the procedure and other general procedures. She is also trained in X-stop and the Charite Artificial Disk procedure. To stay up to date in her field, she remains a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Petrucci currently practices with her private practice, and is affiliated with Putnam Hospital Center. Previously she was the Chief of Neurosurgery at White Plains Hospital Center.
