A skilled orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Shah is affiliated with Banner – University Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, tending to patients at their offices in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona. His expertise encompasses a wide array of specialties, including advanced arthroscopic surgery for knee and shoulder conditions. From ACL reconstruction to complex shoulder reconstructions, his surgical prowess and commitment to innovation ensure optimal outcomes for his patients.

His journey culminated in an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and a Shoulder/Elbow Fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital. His pursuit of knowledge extended beyond medicine, as evidenced by his attainment of a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.

He has dual board certifications from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. He has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (FAAOS), and is an active member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Shoulder and Elbow Society.

As a testament to his expertise, Dr. Shah serves as a team physician for the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Brewers. Additionally, his role as the head team physician for Paradise Valley and Barry Goldwater High Schools underscores his dedication to comprehensive athletic care within his community.. His wealth of experience in sports coverage ensures that athletes receive the highest standard of care, facilitating their journey to peak performance.

Actively engaged in education and research, Dr. Shah’s contributions to orthopedic research are substantial, with over 50 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and presentations.
