Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Theodora Panteloglou, who serves patients in Bayside, New York.

A caring and compassionate pediatrician, Dr. Panteloglou tends to children at her private practice in Bayside, New York. Her patients have excellent things to say about her, one stating “Amazing pediatrician like no other! My kids are treated with the utmost care and she definitely exceeds our expectations!”

With over two decades of experience, the doctor is affiliated with several hospitals and medical centers in her local area, including Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, South Shore University Hospital, and Cohen Children’s Medical Center.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Panteloglou graduated with her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. She then went on to perform her residency in pediatrics at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, where she served as chief resident.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The ABP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine and alopathic medicine MD who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases in infants, children, and adolescents.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

On a more personal note, Dr. Panteloglou is fluent in both English and Greek.
