Dr. Rawda is a pediatrician who is currently serving patients at Pediatrics on Demand in Oak Lawn, Illinois. He specializes in the field of pediatric hematology / oncology and commonly treats patients who have been diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders.

He earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Damascus University in Damascus, Syria in 2001. He then went on to complete his residency in pediatrics at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. He also completed his fellowship training in pediatric hematology and oncology at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education.

A member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Rawda is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certificate is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence. Certification by the ABP has one objective – to promote excellence in medical care for children and adolescents.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. Pediatricians are responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses.
