Get to know General Dentist Dr. Scott R. Lee, who serves patients in Arizona.

Specializing in general dentistry, Dr. Lee is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Every Smile Family Dentistry & Orthodontics in Chandler, Arizona. There, he and his team of professionals strive to create happiness for themselves and their community through meaningful service, communication, compassion, and integrity. They improve the health of a smile by giving the highest quality dental care through disease prevention, education, skilled practitioners, and modern technologies. They want everyone to be proud of their smile because they truly believe that a smile can change the world. 

In addition to providing dental care at Every Smile Family Dentistry & Orthodontics, Dr. Lee is affiliated with Desert Family Dental. Located in Mesa, Arizona, Desert Family Dental aims to provide patients with a pleasant, comfortable dental experience.

Dr. Lee’s career in dentistry began when he graduated cum laude with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 2008. Before attending dental school, he graduated cum laude from Weber State University, where he majored in microbiology and minored in chemistry. His attitude is that you should never stop learning, and that is why he averages 40 hours of continuing education every year. He took part in post-graduate training with a well-known dental implant and sedation dentist, Dr. Chris Harris, and is a contributing member of the Frank Spear Study Club.

In order to stay up to date in his field, he is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association. He is also a former member of the United State Marine Corps and a 2003 recipient of a Purple Heart during combat in Baghdad, Iraq.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. A general dentist, like Dr. Lee, is a primary care dental provider. They diagnose, treat, and manage patients’ overall oral health care needs, including gum care, root canals, fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, and preventive education.

Being an Arizona native, Dr. Lee was born in Pinetop and raised in Mesa. He and his beautiful wife, Melanie, have three wonderful children – Hannah, Charlie, and Hazel. In his spare time, he enjoys art, reading, hiking, mountain biking, serving in his church, and spending time with his family. “What makes me happy? The connections I make while helping improve people’s smiles, my awesome family, and popcorn” as stated by Dr. Lee.
