Get to know General Dentist Dr. Robin C. Ford, who serves patients in Dublin, Ohio.

Dr. Ford is a general dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at her private dental practice – Ford Family Dental – in Dublin, Ohio. At Ford Family Dental, she and her staff provide preventive, restorative, and aesthetic dental care for patients of all ages. Their goal is to deliver the best dental treatments possible. Dr. Ford strives to create a lasting and personal relationship with each patient, making sure they are given the attention and care that they deserve. It has always been her top priority to make her patients feel at home.

Over the 30 years that Dr. Ford has been in practice, she has gained a strong foundation of knowledge and experience with a focus on implant restoration, cosmetic restorations, and Invisalign. She provides high quality care with the latest advances in technology in the dental field, as well as continues to take education courses to ensure that she will always provide that high quality care. 

In 1982, Dr. Ford earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at St. Louis University. She then went on to earn her Master of Science degree in physiology at the University of Akron in 1983, before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1988.

As a Dublin resident for 34 years, Dr. Ford has enjoyed community involvement, serving as  President of the Dublin Women’s Club and as a board member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Columbus Dental Society, the American Association for Dental Research, the American Dental Association, and the Ohio Dental Association. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. A general dentist, like Dr. Ford, is a primary care dental provider who diagnoses, treats, and manages patients’ overall oral health care needs, including gum care, root canals, fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, and preventive education. 

Dr. Ford has been recognized as a Top Dentist for 2019 by Columbus Monthly. She is a certified Invisalign provider. Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces. In her spare time, Dr. Ford loves spending quality time with her family, including her husband, Tom Rigsby, and their 5 children.
