Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Kevin A. Hallman, who serves patients in Minnesota. 

Dr. Hallman is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who has received extensive, specialized training and is uniquely qualified to help women resolve complex issues like bladder leakage and prolapse. With special clinical interests in infertility and obstetrics, he is affiliated with Metro OBGYN clinics in Maplewood and Woodbury, Minnesota. Metro OBGYN is committed to providing the highest quality of care to women of all ages. 

Professionally, Dr. Hallman also serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He recently founded two companies: Eldercare Continence, LLC, committed to helping assisted living and nursing home patients maintain their continence; and Trifecta Medical Group, LLC, dedicated to tracking surgical outcomes through its proprietary On-Trac Gyn program. 

During his academic career, Dr. Hallman earned his medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska in 1985 and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio in 1989. 

He is board-certified as a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, with additional board certification as an inaugural Fellow in the subspecialty of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Moreover, he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada. 

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics, covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, and gynecology, covering the health of the female reproductive system, including vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health. 

In his free time, Dr. Hallman enjoys spending time with his family and coaching freshman football at St. Thomas Academy.
