Dr. Ramani Gowducheruvu, a highly skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, is proud to announce her expanded practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, providing exceptional care and innovative treatment options for patients in Missouri and Pennsylvania. With over 25 years of experience and a commitment to improving the quality of life for her patients, Dr. Gowducheruvu is dedicated to addressing complex oral health issues with compassion and expertise.

Before embarking on her professional journey, the doctor graduated from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, where she developed a strong foundation in dental sciences. Following dental school, she completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at King’s County Medical Center, a level I trauma center in Brooklyn, NY. This experience solidified her passion for surgery and patient care, leading her to pursue a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. During her residency, she had the privilege of working alongside renowned facial plastic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Posnick at Georgetown University School of Medicine.

A significant highlight of Dr. Gowducheruvu’s career was her mission trip to Bangladesh, where she participated in cleft lip and palate surgeries with the “Surgeons for Smiles” team. This experience not only showcased her surgical skills but also her dedication to providing care to those in need, regardless of their circumstances.

Dr. Gowducheruvu specializes in various procedures, including dental implants, jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), and bone grafting. Her clinical interests also encompass facial trauma and pathology, allowing her to address a wide range of patient concerns. She holds active staff privileges at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, ensuring that her patients receive comprehensive care.

When she is not in the operating room or consulting with patients, Dr. Gowducheruvu enjoys spending quality time with her two daughters, balancing her professional and personal life with grace.
