Get to know Emergency Physician Dr. Tanveer Gaibi, who serves patients in Falls Church, Virginia.

Well-versed in the field of emergency medicine, Dr. Gaibi assesses patients who seek medical attention at any time of day or night. He is currently affiliated with Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, working within the Emergency Room at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is a 923-bed medical center serving Northern Virginia, the Washington DC metro area, and beyond. It consistently receives accolades for its high quality of patient care and safety in both national and regional rankings. The campus includes Inova Fairfax Hospital, Inova Heart and Vascular Institute, Inova Schar Cancer Institute, Inova Neurosciences Institute, Inova Children’s Hospital and Inova Women’s Hospital. It is also home to Northern Virginia’s only Level 1 Trauma Center and offers organ transplant programs for heart, lung, kidney and pancreas.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Gaibi earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2002. He then completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM certifies emergency physicians who meet its educational, professional, and examination standards.

In addition to his current role as an attending physician at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Dr. Gaibi is affiliated with Inova Loudoun Hospital, Northwest Hospital, and Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.

As for his academic appointment, he serves as an Assistant Professor within the Department of Emergency Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.
