Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Eid graduated with her medical degree from the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine in Lebanon in 2004. After relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in internal medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2009, and her fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2012.

In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
