Help
Greetings, The area of concern may simply be clogged pore(s) and keeping the area clean and dry as well as avoided scented deodorant/sprays/body washes/soaps/detergents in the area is important. Use of cotton undergarments and breathable/wick away undergarments is helpful to reduce risk of pH imbalance and pimples in the area. However, I think it is utterly important to get tested for Herpes to rule it out/in as a cause of the bumps/pimples seen in the photo. READ MORE

How is chlamydia usually treated?
Good morning, I believe it is of vital importance to understand that Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection that is transmitted through exchange of bodily fluids (semen/sperm, vaginal fluids, blood, etc.) Therefore, if you have been diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection it is important to inform your sexual partner(s) that you have had contact with over the last 6 months to ensure that this person(s) are evaluated and treated. Chlamydia is treated with 1000mg (usually 2 tabs of azithromycin each 500mg). Some providers treat with a 5 day course of doxycycline. It is extremely important that you complete your antibiotic course and follow-up with your provider or local health department in 2-3 weeks to ensure that the infection has been resolved. Please reference/search the CDC website regarding this sexually transmitted infection to learn more. Thank you and have a blessed day. READ MORE
What's the earliest I can get a mammogram?
I recommend discussing having a baseline mammogram completed at age 35. Also, I recommend annual well woman exams/physicals with your physician/provider. Please complete regular self breast exams so that you are familiar with your own breast tissue thus enabling you to identify earlier when something feels abnormal. READ MORE
What if I miss a week straight of birth control pills?
If you have missed 3 or more active pills in a row at any time then throw the rest of the pill pack away and start a new pack the same day and use a non-hormonal birth control method (condom, etc) as a back-up the next time you have sex and for the first 7 days after you start the new pack. You may NOT have a period this month. READ MORE
