In regards to his educational background, he graduated with his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, before completing his residency in pediatrics and fellowship in allergy & immunology at the same educational venue.
Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in allergy & immunology through the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI). The mission of the ABAI is to improve the quality of medical care by the development and utilization of professional and educational standards for the initial certification and maintenance of certification of physician specialists in allergy and immunology.
With a career spanning decades, Dr. Harris has conducted extensive research studies and published numerous scientific articles in reputable journals. His clinical practice has primarily centered around the treatment of nasal allergies, sinus disease, asthma, food allergies, eczema, and hives. However, his recent focus has shifted towards addressing Mast Cell Activation Disease (MCAD) and related disorders, including Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Ehler-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), and more.
Having helped thousands of patients navigate the complexities of these conditions, he is dedicated to providing accurate diagnoses and effective treatment strategies. Many patients have struggled for years before finding relief under his care, highlighting his commitment to improving the quality of life for those affected by these challenging disorders.
