Born in Matera, Italy, Dr. Cancelliere moved to the United States at a young age and pursued his medical education in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed a competitive residency in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where he gained extensive experience in trauma, reconstructive surgery, limb salvage, and external fixation surgery. 

Furthering his expertise, Dr. Cancelliere undertook specialized training at the Ilizarov Scientific Center in Kurgan, Russia, and then a reconstructive foot surgery and wound healing fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

In recognition of his outstanding surgical skills and dedication to patient care, Dr. Cancelliere has been honored with the prestigious designation of Certified “Master Surgeon” by Gramedica for his expertise in minimally invasive, flatfoot corrective procedures. His reputation for compassionate care and unwavering commitment to patient recovery have earned him the respect and trust of both patients and peers in the medical community.
