Get to know Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Stepan Kasimian, who serves patients in Glendale, California. 

Dr. Kasimian is an orthopaedic surgeon serving Glendale and the surrounding communities. He currently practices with Haas Spine & Orthopaedics, a multispecialty practice consisting of physicians with expertise in the treatment of spine and orthopaedic disorders. In 2000, Dr. Kasimian earned his Medical Degree from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine. He went on to complete an internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. Furthering his training, he completed specialized training in complex spinal reconstructive surgery at Cedars-Spinal Medical Center Institute for Spinal Disorders. 

To stay up to date in his field, Dr. Kasimian maintains a professional membership with the American Medical Association, the North American Spine Society, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. 

Orthopaedic Surgery is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. As an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Kasimian tends to bones, ligaments, muscles, joints, nerves, and tendons. He is specialized in treating multiple spine disorders including disc herniations, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, kyphosis, scoliosis, tumors, and spinal trauma in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. 

With over two decades of experience in the field, Dr. Kasimian has treated thousands of patients. He has written a chapter on endoscopic thoracic disc herniations in a prominent spine textbook.
