A top professional in the field of psychiatry, Dr. Patel is responsible for diagnosing and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders through the incorporation of medical, psychological, and social knowledge. He sees patients at his private practice in Stamford, Connecticut. 

Having been in practice for over three decades, he treats children, adolescents, and adults with multiple psychiatric issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, and substance abuse. His areas of expertise include: child & adolescent psychiatry, general psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and pediatric psychiatry. 

With a broad educational background, Dr. Patel obtained his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in India in 1992. After relocating to the United States, he went on to perform his residency in psychiatry at Albany Medical Center in 2005.

Licensed to practice medicine in Connecticut and New York, he is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
