Chief Medical Officer Reinforces Commitment to Community Health

The Imperial County Physicians Medical Group is proud to announce the continued leadership of Dr. Kelada, a seasoned family physician and the Chief Medical Officer, who has dedicated her career to serving the healthcare needs of the community in El Centro, California. 

Throughout her academic career, she earned her medical degree from the prestigious UCLA School of Medicine in 1989, followed by a rigorous residency in family medicine at the University of South Alabama, where she honed her skills and expertise until 1993. Her commitment to excellence in family medicine is further underscored by her previous board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), a respected organization that promotes the practice of family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Throughout her career, Dr. Kelada has demonstrated her commitment to community health not only through her practice but also as a past medical consultant for the California Board of Medicine. Her experience as a clinical instructor of medicine at the University of California San Diego highlights her dedication to educating the next generation of physicians, ensuring that quality healthcare continues to thrive in California.

Fluency in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic, French, and Greek, allows Dr. Kelada to connect with a diverse patient population, enhancing the quality of care provided at Imperial County Physicians Medical Group. Her ability to communicate effectively with patients from various cultural backgrounds fosters trust and understanding, essential components of effective healthcare delivery.

Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys engaging in construction work arts and exploring the vibrant culture of Mexico during her vacations.
