Get to know Pulmonologist Dr. Alexander J. Sweidan, who serves patients throughout Orange County, California.

A prominent pulmonologist, Dr. Sweidan is a private practice physician within the Hoag Health System. He is also a Clinical Professor at the University of California, Irvine. His clinical interests include robotic bronchoscopy, lung cancer, neuromuscular lung disease, pleural disease, asthma, and COPD.

Before embarking on his professional journey, he graduated magna cum laude from Medical University Karola Marcinkowskiego. He then went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at St Mary Medical Center affiliate of Harbor UCLA, before completing his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Neurological Critical Care at the University of California, Irvine.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in Pulmonary Disease, Neurological Critical Care Medicine, and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
