What wrist surgery can you get for arthritis?
It depends upon the location of the arthritis. Options can include removing one or more carpal bones possibly combined with a fusion of carpal bones. A complete fusion may be recommended and a replacement is an option in a select population of patients. Either way, the goal is pain reduction and with that comes some loss of motion and strength.
