A seasoned internist, Dr. Hays treats patients at Houston Methodist Primary Care – Memorial Green. He is an evidence-based, full scope of practice physician with a proficient knowledge of teenagers, adult, and geriatric patients. As such, he strives to make it his top priority to listen to each patient so he can understand their needs and adequately address each concern.

Houston Methodist Primary Care Group brings a wide range of health care services to Memorial Green. From wellness exams to managing acute and chronic conditions, their board-certified internists are committed to providing quality care with the attentiveness patients deserve. Their Memorial Green office is also equipped to provide in-house phlebotomy services, so labs can be drawn onsite for their patients’ convenience.

Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Hays graduated with his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1992, before completing his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 1995.

Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

In his professional experience, he can be found on staff at Houston Methodist West Hospital, and Houston Methodist Hospital.
