Get to know Gastroenterologist Dr. Robert W. Reindollar, who serves patients throughout the State of North Carolina.
A fellowship-trained gastroenterologist, Dr. Reindollar joins Dr. Brandon Marion at Piedmont HealthCare Gastroenterology to continue care for those patients and support the GI needs of Statesville, Mooresville, Troutman, and beyond. He helps patients with digestive problems such as heartburn or inflammatory bowel disease.
During his most recent academic position outside of the community, he continued to serve Iredell County residents who had valued and trusted him as their GI physician.
A North Carolina local, Dr. Reindollar completed his undergrad at Catawba College. He attended graduate school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, after which he performed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, followed by his fellowship in hepatology with the University of Miami – Center for Liver Disease.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in gastroenterology and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Holding fellowship status, Dr. Reindollar is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACOG) and a Fellow of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (FAASLD).
In addition, he is an active member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the American College of Physicians.
