Subsequently, he performed his internship and residency in family medicine at Burlington Memorial Hospital, followed by his fellowship in legislative advocacy.
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Hansen is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.
Significantly involved in healthcare policy in California, Dr. Hansen serves on the Board of Trustees for the California Medical Association. In this capacity, he represents the perspectives of independent practitioners in California to the legislature.
