After earning his medical degree from Universidad Veracruzana Faculty of Medicine in Ciudad Mendoza, Mexico in 1984, Dr. Remy relocated to the United States. There, he completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in gastroenterology at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in 1990 and 1992, respectively.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association, the doctor is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.
