Get to know Pediatric Cardiologist, Dr. Christopher M. Mann, who serves patients in Fort Worth, Texas

A board certified pediatric anesthesiologist, Dr. Mann welcomes patients at Cook Children’s Anesthesiology Services in Fort Worth, Texas. Cook Children’s Anesthesiology Services is an integral part  of Cook Children’s Hospital. Well-versed in all facets of anesthesiology for children, Dr. Mann provides services such as anesthesia, pain management, pre-surgical anesthesia testing and evaluation, as well as surgical anesthesia.

Dr. Mann received his medical degree in 1989 at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, where he remained for his residency in pediatrics (1989-1992). Dr. Mann also completed a residency in anesthesiology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland  (1992-1994) and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at The University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington (1994 – 1996).

Subsequent to his training, Dr. Mann became board-certified in anesthesiology with the American Board of Anesthesiology. The American Board of Anesthesiology sets standards and exams for the accreditation of Board certified anesthesiologists coming to the end of their residency. It is one of the 24 medical specialty boards that constitutes the American Board of Medical Specialties.
