Dr. Mark Weaver is a podiatrist practicing in Fort Myers, FL.

Dr. Weaver is a medical doctor specializing in the treatment of the foot, ankle and related parts of the leg. As a podiatrist, Dr. Weaver diagnoses and treats conditions of the feet.

Dr. Weaver is a 1979 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. After graduation, he participated in his postgraduate surgical residency training at The Podiatry Hospital of Pittsburgh. He has taught surgery to both podiatric medical students and podiatric surgical residents since 1981. 

The feet are key body parts that give a person stability, absorb shock, allow for walking and standing and are necessary for overall well-being. So, the feet need expert care. Podiatrists can specialize in surgery, wound care, sports medicine, diabetic care and pediatrics.

Dr. Weaver’s credentials include being a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a board certified Diplomate – Physician of the American Board of Quality Assurance and the Utilization Review Board.

He is an Associate of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and is a fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association.

He is a fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians
