A skilled dentist, Dr. Eckel joined Dr. Bill Bisignano and Dr. Andy Stone in 2005, providing world-class dental care to South Jersey families at Bisignano, Stone, and Eckel Family Dentistry.

Immediately after graduation, he packed his bags for the U.S. Army Dental Corps, where he spent five more years as an Army dental officer in such varied locations as Colorado, Germany, Iraq, and Arlington, Virginia. After his military service, he searched for the ideal town to raise his family and pursue his dental career, finding Medford, New Jersey, to be the perfect fit.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries, create beautiful smiles, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
When not at the office, Dr. Eckel loves spending time with his family. His wife, Allison, is a loving and devoted mother to their two children, Thomas and Lillian. She is also a tireless volunteer in numerous community organizations, including the Medford Education Foundation, an independent 501(c ) 3 non-profit dedicated to supporting education initiatives in Medford’s K-8 schools.
In their off time, the whole family loves to ski the mountains of Vermont at Smugglers Notch, their home away from home. Dr. Eckel also likes to indulge in his love affair with motorcycles by either restoring them in his garage or riding them on the sandy lanes of South Jersey.
