Get to know Pediatric Hospitalist Dr. Ira Paula Wardono, who serves patients in Tarzana, California. 

Dr. Wardono, a pediatric hospitalist, is a part of the faculty at Cedars-Sinai, working at the community site, Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. 

She has been serving as Medical Director of Pediatric Hospitalist Service and the current Chief of Pediatrics at the same of hospital. 

Educated in Indonesia, Dr. Wardono graduated with her Bachelor of Medicine degree and Doctor of Medicine degree from Universitas Indonesia in 1996 and 1998, respectively. She then relocated to the United States, performing her internship and residency in pediatrics at Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York, where she also served as Chief Resident.

She is board certifified in General Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Dr. Wardono hold a degree of  Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety Management from the College of Population Health at Thomas Jefferson University.

In affiliation with several professional organizations, she is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, the American Association for Physician Leadership, and the American College of Physician Advisors.

Dr. Wardono has been serving as an Executive Board Member of Providence Southern California Women’s and Children’s Institute.
