Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Maximus Anitube, who serves patients in McKinney, Texas.

A board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. Anitube practices PsychMed Innovative Solutions with offices in Mckinney and Irving, Texas and an affiliate at New Horizons Center for Healing in McKinney, Texas. He has focused his clinical training and experience on many different areas of psychiatry and is well versed with working with children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr. Anitube graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Maiduguri and obtained his Doctor of medicine ( MD) from Xavier University, Oranjestad, Aruba. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the Cooper University Hospital, and his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Drexel University – Hahnemann University Hospital where he also served as chief resident.

An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in child psychiatry and adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Remaining up to date in his field, Dr. Anitube is an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the American Psychiatric Association. Dr Anitube is currently a preceptor for Nurse Practitioners and has been involved in teaching Residents and Medical students. HDr Anitube is the supervisor of a psychiatric consultation establishment serving the DFW area.

As a testament to his compassionate care, Dr. Anitube has been the recipient of the 2017 Compassionate Caregiver Award by Medical City McKinney.
